A three-year warranty applies to AS Suwem products. The warranty goes into effect from the day that follows the day when the Product is delivered to and received by the Buyer. The warranty applies under the condition that assembly of the Product has adhered to the furniture’s assembly instructions, the furniture has been used purposefully and maintained according to the maintenance manual. In order to execute rights arising from the warranty, the Buyer must inform AS Suwem of any defects that have appeared during the warranty within a reasonable time period (1 month) by presenting a written claim. The claim must include the defective Product’s name (article no.) and the Product detail’s name (no. in the assembly instructions) and a description of the defect. The claim must be accompanied by the waybill or other document proving purchase that has been received from AS Suwem.
Warranty does not apply to the Product’s natural amortization and also to the differences in timber texture and color tone. Warranty also does not apply in the following cases:
· if the furniture has been repaired during warranty by the Buyer or third persons without prior written consent from AS Suwem;
· if details not foreseen by AS Suwem have been added to the furniture;
· if damage to the furniture has been created due to its unskilled use, maintenance or transport.
Due to the usage of environmentally-friendly finishing materials, it is not possible to avoid color changes to exposed knots in pine wood which is why it is not considered to be an issue under warranty.
During the warranty period AS Suwem will repair or replace all defective details of Products as quickly as possible (within 60 calendar days from receiving the claim). Replaced and repaired Products are subject to warranty conditions that are identical to new products. The warranty does not exclude or restrict the Buyer’s right to use other legal protection means arising from the law or the Contract.
